We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Hotel Sales Manager to drive sales and revenue growth for our property. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality sales, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of building and maintaining relationships with clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to maximize revenue and occupancy.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain relationships with key clients, corporate accounts, and travel agencies to foster loyalty and repeat business.
- Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive positioning. Monitor local and national market conditions.
- Lead Generation: Identify new business opportunities through networking, prospecting, and attending industry events.
- Sales Presentations: Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals tailored to clients' needs.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team to develop promotional campaigns and sales collateral.
- Budget Management: Assist in setting and managing the sales budget and forecasts, ensuring targets are met or exceeded.
- Reporting: Track and analyze sales performance metrics, preparing regular reports for management.
- Customer Service: Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service delivery and follow-up.
- Team Leadership: Mentor and guide junior sales staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in hotel sales or a related field.
- Strong understanding of hotel operations and the local market.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and hotel management software (e.g., OPERA, Salesforce).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
