Hiring House Manager – Dubai

NB: This position is only open to candidates already based in Dubai or the Middle East.

Our longstanding UHNW client has recently moved over to Dubai from the UK and is looking for an experienced House Manager to join the team in their large private property.

They are looking for someone with good longevity and prior experience in a high management position within a private UHNW household or in a top-level, 5* hotel setting. This role calls for someone who will demonstrate expertise in top-level front of house service and staff management, ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the property. This is a great opportunity to lead a great team in a well-established private household.

Responsibilities include:

  • Overseeing the smooth daily running of the property
  • Liaising with and sourcing external contractors
  • Management of household staff to ensure a smooth-running operation
  • HR duties including recruitment/training of new/permanent/temp staff
  • Staff admin management (e.g. working rota, timesheets, holiday planning, staff issues handling)
  • Administrative tasks such as managing household budget, cash flow, bill payment, spreadsheets, contractor & suppliers’ database
  • Maintain up-to-date inventories of wine, spare equipment, household items, etc.
