Description:
We are looking for an HR Manager for a company based in Dubai. The company founded in 2007, specializes in the distribution of Arabic films in the GCC and internationally.
Work Location: Downtown
Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop policies, processes, and initiatives to support the organization’s human resource compliance and strategy needs.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to understand the organization’s goals and strategy related to staffing, recruiting, and retention.
- Manage the staffing process, including recruiting, interviewing, hiring and onboarding.
- Ensure job descriptions are up-to-date and compliant with all local, state and federal regulations.
- Investigate employee issues and conflicts and brings them to resolution.
- Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
- Develop and implement departmental budgets.
- Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high-performance.
- Develop training materials and performance management programs to help ensure employees understand their job responsibilities.
- Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics.
Requirements:
- Over 7+ years of experience in a similar field (3-5 years of experience as an HR manager).
- Excellent to Fluent in English is a must.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in a service-providing company such as in the industries of entertainment or tourism is a plus.
- Ability to adapt to the needs of the organization and employees.
