Hiring HSE/Safety Engineer for a construction company based in RAK
Job Description:-
- Participate in the project HSE training programs.
- Conduct safety inspections and try to eliminate unsafe practices and conditions.
- Monitor and implement of approved project health and safety plan.
- Audit compliance with HSE project and local regulations and procedures.
- Prepare comprehensive reports on safety performance.
- Monitor contractors to ensure the implementation of applicable safety measures at the site to fulfill Legal and client requirements.
- Prepare the Site Safety Plan, Emergency plan, and other safety-related plans. Review Method Statement and risk analysis for all activities and monitor the effectiveness of hazard control measures.
- Conducting monthly Safety meetings, setting the target to achieve the outstanding issues, and preparing/submitting the minutes to all concerned for follow-up.
- Prepare and review incident/accident investigation reports, and monitor the immediate action and follow-up actions to minimize/prevent re-occurrence.
- Coordinates HSE monthly meetings to monitor HSE actions against the HSE Plan/program. Update & monitor HSE performance standards for audit review processes.
Requirements:-
- 3-5 years UAE experience in safety management.
- Certificate from Internationally recognized safety bodies. (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA)
- Fluency in the English language.
- Bachelor’s Degree in any Construction-related Engineering Degree or Occupational safety and health and internationally approved Safety courses.
- Well knowledge of Computer systems in making all kinds of safety reports and presentations for consultants and clients.
