About the Role:
The human resource executive is responsible for assisting the human resource manager in the day-to-day running of the HR department. The human resource executive would perform the basic functions of the HR department, handling areas such as talent acquisition, personnel management, social welfare and the maintenance of HR records.
Requirements:
- At least 3-5 years’ experience gained within a similar role in the UAE
- Experience with full-cycle recruitment (strong recruitment experience is essential)
- Excellent organisational and administrative skills, with meticulous attention to detail
- Strong decision making and problem-solving abilities
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Understanding of UAE labour law
- Proficient in MS Office applications
- CIPD qualification is a plus
Responsibilities:
- Assist in implementing and updating policies and procedures
- Shadow and assist HRM in the development of the staff handbook
- Assist with the development of the organizational chart. Recruitment
- Assist in sourcing candidates that meet the requirements of the position
- Assist in the preparation of job adverts through different mediums
- Learn and assist in coordinating with various resources to acquire potential resumes
- Assist in drafting and constructing job descriptions from scratch
- Assist with shortlisting and screening potential candidates
- Assist with conducting preliminary interviews (via telephone) and arranging technical tests
- Assist with arranging shortlisted candidates final interviews with the management team
- Assist in processing and communicating offers under supervision of senior members of the team
- Assist with ensuring employees work stations are prepared before the employees joining date
- Follow up with IT to ensure set up of email ID and desktop prior to the candidate joining
- Learn how to analyse training with senior members of the team
- Assist the HRM in preparing and conduction training sessions
- Learn how to conduct required training sessions from senior members of the team
- Assist in consolidation of feedback on each session in order to improve for the future
- Responsible to create personnel files for all new employees
- Responsible to keep all personnel files up-to-date and ensure to file all documents related to the employee’s employment with the firm
- Ensure to maintain and update staff database as and when required
