Information Communication Technology Engineer

Description:

As an L3 ICT Engineer, you will play a crucial role in managing and supporting our advanced IT infrastructure projects. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining complex IT systems, ensuring their optimal performance and security. You will also act as a key technical resource for resolving high-level issues and providing expert guidance to our team and clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, implement, and maintain advanced IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, and storage systems.

Provide expert-level support and troubleshooting for complex technical issues, ensuring timely resolution.

Develop and implement security policies and procedures to protect IT systems and data.

Collaborate with clients to understand their technical requirements and deliver customized IT solutions.

Lead and mentor junior engineers, providing technical guidance and support.

Conduct regular system audits and assessments to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.

Stay updated with the latest technology trends and advancements in the ICT field.

Prepare technical documentation, including network diagrams, system configurations, and user manuals.

Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to procure necessary hardware and software.

Participate in the planning and execution of IT projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

Minimum of 5 years of experience as an ICT Engineer, with at least 2 years in an L3 role.

Strong knowledge of network protocols, infrastructure, and security.

Proficiency in configuring and managing routers, switches, firewalls, and other networking equipment.

Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware, Hyper-V, or similar.

Expertise in Windows and Linux server administration.

Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Relevant certifications such as CCNP, CISSP, or equivalent are highly desirable.
