Description:
The IT Manager is responsible for ensuring the security and effective operation of all computer systems, related applications, hardware, and software used within the organisation.
Key Accountabilities & Activities Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the security and privacy of information and IT assets.
- Suggest and provide IT solutions to business and management problems.
- Develop, implement, and maintain web-based content and web-based application deployment.
- Identify and evaluate future and emerging technologies in information security.
- Mitigate and monitor virus, spyware, and ransomware attacks with Sophos enterprise security.
- Administer and troubleshoot servers, including Windows Servers 2016, Active Directory Domain Services, DNS, DHCP, Fileserver, and VMWARE hypervisor.
- Maintain and monitor NAS/ISCSI storage infrastructure.
- Monitor and support MS Office 365 and Rackspace Email subscription and user queries.
- Maintain and monitor firewall, VPN, and network infrastructure.
- Maintain and monitor wireless infrastructure.
- Monitor and manage web domain registration and renewal.
Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Information Technology or a related field.
- Minimum ten (10) years’ experience in IT operation environment.
- Technical management and technical understanding.
- Proficiency in English, both oral and written.
- Proficient skills with MS server, Fortinet firewall, and Ubiquiti Networks wireless.
- Excellent experience in ERP systems.
- Previous experience working with NetSuite and HRMS is an advantage.
- Knowledge of JavaScript, CSS, and HTML is useful.
- Knowledge of SQL and DOT NET is useful.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in datacenter management.
- Teamwork and quality management skills.
- Previous experience working in a multinational, multicultural environment.
- Fluent in English.
- Based in Dubai, UAE.
