Information Technology Security Manager

Description:

Mark Williams is currently working with a prestigious holding company in UAE that is looking to hire a dynamic IT Security Manager

Responsibilities:

- Manage and oversee IT security measures for a portfolio of companies within the holding group, ensuring each subsidiary's digital assets are protected

- Develop Security Policies: Design, implement, and enforce security policies, procedures, and protocols at a group level to ensure robust security frameworks

- Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate IT security risks across the organization’s operations

- Incident Response: Lead and coordinate the response to security incidents and breaches, ensuring minimal impact and swift recovery

- Compliance and Audits: Ensure compliance with relevant security standards and regulations, and prepare for and lead security audits.

- Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor a team of IT security professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and development

- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with executive management and other stakeholders to align IT security strategies with business objectives

- Security Awareness: Develop and conduct security awareness training programs for employees to foster a security-conscious culture.

Requirements:

- Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT security, with a proven track record of managing security at a group level within a holding company

- In-depth knowledge of IT security frameworks, risk management, incident response, and compliance

- Strong leadership and team management capabilities with experience in mentoring and developing IT security professionals

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate security-related concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders

- Relevant security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or equivalent are highly desirable

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
