Linux – Infrastructure Support Specialist
Location – Dubai
Experience: 7+ years of experience at a relevant Technical position in large organizations. Banking background.
Skills:
- RedHat OpenShift technical extensive deep dive experience from capacity planning to implementation
- RedHat OpenShift virtualization deep knowledge
- Experience in managing Kubernetes clusters
- Extensive experience with RedHat, UNIX, Solaris and NIX systems system administration.
- At least 5 years of advanced Linux experience
- Extensive Linux troubleshooting skills
- Strong Experience with VMWare, Oracle Linux Virtual Manager, and concepts
- Knowledge on OS patch/ Firmware upgrades and troubleshooting & Identify and fix the root cause and implement the automation identified.
- Good knowledge with RedHat satellite and Spacewalk
- An Expert level of experience in implementing and administrating common TCP/IP-based services, including DNS, DHCP, HTTP, FTP, SSH, SMTP, etc.
- Good level of experience with Middleware ecosystems such as Red Hat JBoss and Oracle WebLogic.
- Good knowledge with storage concepts and network protocols
- Good knowledge in Ansible, Jenkins, terraform and CI/CD automation pipelines
- Able to debug, troubleshoot, and resolve complex technical issues.
- Solid interpersonal skills conducive to a team environment.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
