Description:
As an Interface Manager with a strong background in rail systems and extensive experience in rail projects, you will play a key role in managing and coordinating design interfaces to ensure seamless integration across civil and rail systems disciplines. This role is pivotal to the successful delivery of high-profile rail projects in the Middle East region.
Responsibilities
- Act as the main point of contact for managing interfaces between civil design, rail systems, and multidisciplinary teams, ensuring smooth integration and alignment across all project components.
- Identify, track, and resolve interface issues by coordinating with stakeholders, facilitating workshops, and implementing effective solutions.
- Oversee both rail systems and civil design deliverables to ensure compliance with project requirements, safety standards, and regulatory guidelines.
- Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and regulatory authorities to address stakeholder needs, communicate updates, and ensure the timely resolution of design conflicts.
- Proactively manage interface-related risks, promote sustainable design solutions, and maintain quality assurance processes throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (BEng) in a relevant engineering field such as Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering.
- Minimum 15+ years of experience in rail systems and civil interface management, with a strong focus on large-scale rail projects.
- Proven track record in interface management for rail systems and multidisciplinary infrastructure projects.
- Proficiency in interface management tools and relevant design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Rail Systems CAD tools).
- Strong understanding of rail systems, track alignment, signaling, and multidisciplinary project coordination.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
