Mute sells acoustic products with the purpose of improving interior spaces both visually and acoustically. Improving spaces to be comfortable sound-spaces, has proven to lower stress and productivity, help us make a difference in the world.

We are looking for a young designer willing to learn and with a broad set of competences within interior design, graphic design and customer relations. Someone who is passionate about scandinavian/minimalist product design and wants to share it with the world.

As our second in-house interior designer, you will get the opportunity to be employee number 8 with accompanying influence on brand appearance and physical products. You will be supported by the two founders who have 13 years of experience within architecture and design.

Responsibilities

• Create attractive acoustic designs and layouts for various projects.
• Comunicate with clients about client's objectives and desires.
• Educate clients in acoustic designs and acoustic space requirements.
• Coordinate with sales team and create quotes for clients.
• Assist production with designs using CAD.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in design or related field or relevant work experience.
• Proficiency in 3D modelling software SolidWorks/Rhino/or similar.
• Experience using Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator.
• Excellent English skills.

You are the ideal candidate when you are creative and self-dependent, have excellent creative thinking skills and be able to create designs based on conversations with a client. You must be able to work both independently and collaboratively as well as strategically and hands-on.
