Internal Audit Manager

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute a risk-based audit plan, including the identification of high-risk areas, based on a thorough understanding of the organization's business and operations.
• Lead and manage the internal audit team, including hiring, training, and performance management.
• Plan and conduct audits of financial, operational, and compliance processes, and prepare written reports on audit findings, conclusions, and recommendations.
• Work with senior management and department heads to develop and implement corrective action plans to address identified deficiencies.
• Monitor and report on the status of corrective action plans to ensure timely and effective implementation.
• Stay current with changes in laws, regulations, and best practices related to internal audit, and make recommendations for updates to the audit plan and/or internal control framework as necessary.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including external auditors, regulators, and other stakeholders as appropriate.
• Provide training and guidance to staff on internal audit best practices and ensure that audit work is performed in accordance with professional standards and internal policies and procedures.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in accounting or finance and professional certification such as Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), ACCA or equivalent.
• Minimum of 6-8 years of diversified experience in internal audit, with at least 3 years in a managerial capacity.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal (English and Arabic), and the ability to communicate complex issues in a clear and concise manner.
• Must be available to join within 2 weeks.
