We are a dynamic automotive trading and logistics group based in Dubai, specializing in import, export, fleet management, and vehicle rentals. As part of our commitment to operational excellence, we are seeking a detail-oriented Internal Auditor to oversee and control financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance across all operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and control all financial transactions to ensure accuracy, legitimacy, and compliance with company policies and regulations.
- Conduct internal audits to evaluate the effectiveness of financial controls and identify any discrepancies or risks.
- Analyze and validate financial records, ensuring all transactions align with internal processes and external regulations.
- Design and implement robust internal controls to mitigate risks associated with financial transactions.
- Prepare detailed reports on findings and recommendations to senior management for corrective action and improvement.
- Conduct risk assessments to ensure potential vulnerabilities in financial processes are proactively addressed.
- Support the finance team in preparing for external audits and liaise with external auditors as necessary.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional certification (e.g., CIA, CPA, ACCA) is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in financial auditing or internal controls, ideally in the automotive or trading sector.
- Strong understanding of UAE financial regulations and international financial reporting standards (IFRS).
- Expertise in transaction monitoring, risk management, and audit tools.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Attention to detail and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
