Description:
We are seeking a diligent IT Specialist to take care of all our IT needs. You will be responsible for installing or upgrading components, setting up software, assisting with network administration, and resolving all IT support issues.
Responsibilities:
- Installing new software and hardware components.
- Regularly evaluate our IT systems to ensure they meet the necessary demands.
- Assisting with network administration tasks.
- Ensuring data storage is safe and secure.
- Supporting the day-to-day operations of our computer network.
- Configure mail Id (office 365 exchange) and backup the data.
- Set up user accounts, permissions, and passwords.
- Resolve problems reported by the end user.
- Perform network maintenance and system upgrade.
Requirements:
- A degree in computer science or a related field is preferable.
- Proven experience in a network administrator role.
- Hands-on experience in networking, routing, and switching.
- Excellent knowledge of best practices around management, control, and monitoring of server infrastructure.
- Experience with firewalls, Internet VPN’s remote implementation, troubleshooting, and problem resolution is desired Ability to set up and configure server hardware.
- Familiarity with backup and recovery software and methodologies.
- Great at organizing, prioritizing, and multitasking.
- Knowledge of Website maintenance will be an added advantage.
