Description:
IT Support Responsibilities
- Technical Support
- Provide first-level support for hardware, software, and network issues.
- Respond to and resolve user requests via ticketing systems.
- Escalate complex problems when necessary.
- Hardware and Software Maintenance
- Install, configure, and update IT hardware (desktops, laptops, CCTV).
- Manage software installations, updates, and security patches.
- Perform routine system maintenance to prevent issues.
- Network and System Administration
- Monitor and troubleshoot network performance for stability and security.
- Support LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, and VPN setups.
- Assist with server and virtual environment management.
- Data Backup and Security
- Manage data backups to protect critical information.
- Enforce company security policies, including antivirus and firewall configurations.
- Perform regular updates to maintain system security.
- Documentation and Reporting
- Record support activities, solutions, and procedures.
- Maintain IT documentation, including FAQs and user guides.
- Submit reports to the IT Manager on activities, issues, and system performance.
- Inventory Management
- Track and manage IT equipment inventory for accurate asset records and future upgrades.
