Description:
We are currently hiring for an energetic Sales Engineer. The IT Sales engineer will be responsible for driving
sales and managing client accounts within the Information Technology sector. This role involves understanding clients' technology needs, proposing suitable solutions, and ensuring client satisfaction to foster long-term relationships.
Responsibilities
- Devise and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and expand the customer base.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients, understanding their IT requirements and proposing appropriate products/services.
- Identify client needs and recommend IT solutions, products, or services that align with their goals and challenges.
- Prepare and present compelling proposals, including cost estimates and technical specifications, to address client needs.
- Negotiate terms, pricing, and contracts to close sales deals, ensuring they are beneficial for both the client and the company.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for client inquiries, concerns, and escalations, ensuring prompt and satisfactory resolution.
- Work closely with technical teams, product managers, and other departments to ensure the delivery of promised solutions and services.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitors, and market conditions to identify new opportunities and potential challenges.
Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field
- Proven experience in IT sales, account management, or a related field within the technology sector.
- Solid understanding of IT products, services, and solutions. Knowledge of cloud services, software, hardware, networking, and cybersecurity is beneficial.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
- Results-driven with a focus on achieving sales targets and delivering exceptional customer service.
- certifications or training in sales methodologies are advantageous.
