Junior Analyst

Description:

We are a fast-growing investing firm seeking a highly motivated Junior Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate for this job should have practical experience with blockchain and crypto-assets, along with a minimum of two years of relevant work experience. Strong analytical and communication skills, as well as proficiency in Excel/PowerPoint, are required, with knowledge of Python or R being a plus.

As a Junior Analyst, you will be responsible for monitoring market trends in blockchain industry, analysing various projects and support investment committees.

Responsibilities:

- Monitor blockchain market trends in MENA, EU, UK, APAC

- Conduct market research on blockchain industry

- Scoring various L1/L2 blockchain protocols and infrastructure projects

- Assist in the preparation of investment reports and presentations

- Assist with the preparation of Newsletters and other marketing materials

- Assist in creation of financial models, tokenomics

- Support the investment team in other tasks as required

Requirements:

- BSs/MSc in finance, mathematics, computer science, economics or related field

- Fluent English, both spoken and written

- 2+ years of work experience in investment banking, private equity, VC, or similar fields with a focus on technology investments (experience in crypto, Web3, etc. is a plus).

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, coupled with exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.

- Proficiency in Excel/PowerPoint is a must, Python / R programming skills is a plus
