Junior Interior Designer

Description:

Galleria Design is looking for a Junior FF&E Interior Designer to join our team! The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and developing concept designs for residential and commercial interiors and selecting the appropriate furniture, fixtures, and equipment for those designs. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical, creative, and communication skills to collaborate effectively with project teams and clients.

Responsibilities

• Develop concept designs for residential and commercial interiors
• Select furniture, fixtures, and equipment based on design concepts
• Source and purchase furniture and fixtures to meet project budgets and timelines
• Develop project specifications and review vendor information
• Prepare detailed drawings, sketches, and plans
• Assist with installation of furniture, fixtures, and equipment
• Consult with clients to determine project requirements and design preferences
• Participate in project meetings and present designs to clients

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or a related field
• 2-3 years of experience in interior design and FF&E
• Strong knowledge of design trends, materials, and construction techniques
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and other design software
