Hiring Junior NOC Engineer

Job Summary:
We are seeking a Junior NOC Engineer to join our team. The Junior NOC Engineer will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining our network and systems infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and uptime. The ideal candidate will have a passion for technology, strong problem-solving skills, and a desire to learn and grow in a dynamic IT environment. As a Junior NOC Engineer, you will work closely with senior engineers and gain valuable hands-on experience in network operations.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor network systems and infrastructure to identify and resolve performance issues, outages, and network alarms.
- Execute routine network checks and maintenance tasks to ensure system stability and reliability.
- Respond to incident tickets, troubleshoot technical problems, and escalate complex issues to senior engineers when necessary.
- Perform network troubleshooting using diagnostic tools and escalate issues to the appropriate teams as required.
- Provide technical support and guidance to end-users regarding network connectivity and related issues.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience or internship in a networking or IT support role.
- Knowledge of network fundamentals, protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP), and network monitoring tools.
- Familiarity with network troubleshooting and diagnostic techniques.
- Basic understanding of routing, switching, and firewall concepts.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Certifications such as CCNA or Network+ are a plus.
- Willingness to learn and grow within a challenging and dynamic IT environment.
