Description:
We are looking for experienced Kitchen Equipment Technicians to work on our restaurant kitchen projects for installation, service, and maintenance of commercial kitchen equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and fix issues with various kitchen and refrigeration equipment types.
- Install new refrigeration and food service (kitchen) equipment and systems, as required.
- . Repair, replace, or calibrate controls, thermostats, switches, fuses, and electrical wiring.
- Follow wire schematics while connecting and wiring motors, compressors, temperature controllers, and humidity controls.
- Maintain all preventative maintenance schedules and procedures for the kitchen and refrigeration equipment, including filter replacement and condenser and coil cleaning.
- Existing refrigeration and food service systems should be relocated and expanded.
- Keep thorough records of the materials and labor used as well as the inventory of the tools, equipment, and spare parts.
- Inspect completed jobs to ensure that areas are clean, and detect needed repairs on equipment using established inspection procedures.
Requirements:
- The candidate should have at least 2 years of experience in a related field.
- This job requires constant walking, standing, climbing, stooping, bending, kneeling, reaching, as well as heavy lifting and carrying.
- Work in exhausting and uncomfortable positions both indoors and outdoors, sometimes in extreme temperatures.
- Traveling within the UAE, as well as to Qatar and Oman.
- Should be familiar with commercial food service (kitchen) equipment repairs, maintenance, and installation techniques for combi ovens, other cooking equipment, preparation equipment, refrigeration equipment, dishwashing equipment, and so on.
- Knowledge in the operation of electrical control systems
- Reading and interpretation of drawings, diagrams, schematics, and written reference material
- Capability to diagnose and address issues
- Knowledge of hand and power tools
