Job Purpose
To conduct independent reviews of Know Your Customer (KYC) files to ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct independent reviews of KYC files for new and existing customers, including high-risk customers.
* Assess the completeness and accuracy of customer identification and due diligence documentation.
* Verify the accuracy of information entered into the Bank's systems.
* Identify and escalate any potential KYC/AML red flags or suspicious activity.
* Prepare and maintain accurate records of all reviews conducted.
* Assist in the development and enhancement of KYC procedures and controls.
* Participate in KYC-related training and development programs.
* Adhere to all relevant compliance and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications and Experience
* Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., finance, law, accounting).
* At least 2 years of experience in a KYC/AML review role within the financial services industry.
* Strong knowledge of KYC regulations and best practices in the UAE.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
* Experience with KYC software and databases is a plus.
