Description:
Your primary responsibility is spearheading the front-end development initiatives and collaborating effectively with technical and product departments.
In your role as the lead engineer, you'll serve as the central liaison for all frontend matters. You will oversee the entire frontend development cycle, from team formation and mentorship to tracking team members' progress. This encompasses regular leadership responsibilities such as conducting one-on-one meetings, evaluating performance
Responsibilities
- Lead our efforts to maintain and improve the platform frontend code base
- Optimize applications for maximum performance
- Design mobile-based features and PWA applications
- Collaborate with back-end developers and web designers to improve the usability
- Recommend appropriate technologies to implement new features and own the implementation of new features until successful delivery.
- Review code, layout, and design for projects before client meetings.
- Build, deliver, and iterate to help scale projects.
- Create new methods for improving team efficiency.
- Coach, monitor, and educate team members.
Requirements (Hard Skills)
- Solid experience in frontend development with React, NextJS, JavaScript, and CSS. Tailwind CSS and react-native will be a huge plus.
- Strong knowledge of website SEO optimization techniques and best practices.
- Strong experience with NextJs.
- Knowledge in unit testing using Jest or Mocha
- Ability to translate mockups into seamless web pages with perfect visual and functional elements.
- Experience in building large and modular codebases.
- Strong understanding of REST APIs and knowledge of how to interface with them.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent field.
- 7+ years of total experience working in Front-End Development.
