Description:
The L&D Specialist is crucial for the success of the academy. This role identifies training needs, designs modules, lessons and delivery methods with the respective functions along with on-the-job upskilling measurements in line with each department’s unique clients’ journeys.
Responsibilities
- Identifies training needs and carries out capability assessments across PSI.
- Helps Line Managers identify the skills required for their team members through career pathing and clients’ journeys in order to develop the learning modules.
- Creates flexible and innovative learning courses.
- Designs blended learning modules, lessons and delivery methods.
- Develops assessments based on impact-measurement with different methodologies.
- Researches and applies different learning theories to ensure that staff get the best out of their development and that they excel at their jobs.
- Designs a range of learning interventions, including technical, behavioral and leadership programs.
- Supports the ToT programs.
- A bachelor’s degree in communications or related area.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Thorough understanding of training processes.
- Ability to design different learning methods and mapping them with related impact assessments.
- Extremely organized and detail oriented.
- Responsible for the entire LMS platform administration including assigning modules, uploads, assessments, dashboards and reporting.
- Creates and develops workflows & all clients’ journeys on LMS.
- Takes Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) lead in ensuring “safe systems of work” and “safe conditions” are in place within area of responsibility. 18. Performs other similar or related duties as required or assigned by management.
Qualifications
A Educational Requirements / Qualifications:
- A bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Education, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field is often required. Some positions may prefer or require a master's degree in a relevant discipline.
B Experience:
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in learning and development, training coordination, or related roles is required.
- Experience in designing, implementing, and evaluating training programs is highly valued.
- Previous experience in instructional design, curriculum development, or facilitation may be beneficial.
- Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS) and e-learning platforms is often preferred.
