Learning Management System Administrator Moodle/totara

 

Description:

We are seeking a skilled Moodle/Totara Administrator to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the administration, configuration, and maintenance of Totara LMS platforms. This role requires a proactive individual who can ensure the smooth operation of our e-learning environments and provide excellent support to our users.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer, configure, and maintain Moodle and Totara LMS platforms.
  • Manage user accounts, roles, and permissions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to the LMS.
  • Customize and enhance the LMS to meet the needs of our clients.
  • Develop and implement new features and plugins.
  • Monitor system performance and ensure high availability and security.
  • Provide training and support to users, including instructors and students.
  • Collaborate with the development team to integrate the LMS with other systems.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in e-learning technologies.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Moodle/Totara Administrator or in a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of LMS platforms, particularly Moodle and Totara.
  • Proficiency in PHP, MySQL, and Linux server environments.
  • Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other web technologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Fluency in Arabic is preferred.
