Description:
As the Legal and Compliance Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our company operates within legal and regulatory frameworks while maintaining ethical standards and best practices. Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement legal and compliance strategies, policies, and procedures for the company.
- Ensure adherence to local laws, regulations, and industry standards related to property development,contracts, and transactions.
- Review and negotiate contracts, agreements, leases, and other legal documents to protect the company's interests.
- Provide legal advice and guidance to senior management and departments on various legal matters, including property acquisitions, disputes, and risk management.
- Conduct legal research, stay updated on legal developments, and interpret laws and regulations affecting the real estate industry.
- Collaborate with external legal counsel, government authorities, and stakeholders on legal and regulatory matters.
- Conduct compliance audits, risk assessments, and internal investigations as needed.
- Develop and deliver compliance training programs for employees to promote awareness and adherence to legal and ethical standards.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Law, Legal Studies,or related field (Master's degree or certifications are a plus).
- Proven track record in legal and compliance roles within the property development sector in Dubai's top 5 development companies.
- In-depth knowledge of UAE laws and regulations pertaining to real estate,contracts, and compliance.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
- High level of integrity, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
- Fluency in English (Arabic language skills are a plus).
