Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Licensed Clinical Psychologist to join our team. As a Licensed Clinical Psychologist, you will be responsible for providing psychological assessment, diagnosis, and treatment to individuals of all ages who are experiencing mental, emotional, and behavioral issues. Your role will involve conducting therapy sessions, implementing evidence-based interventions, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to promote the overall well-being of clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to gather information about clients' mental health, personal history, and presenting concerns.
  • Utilize standardized assessment tools and clinical interviews to evaluate clients' cognitive abilities, personality traits, emotional functioning, and behavioral patterns.
  • Formulate accurate diagnoses based on the assessment findings and develop individualized treatment plans to address clients' specific needs and goals.
  • Provide evidence-based psychotherapy and counseling to individuals, couples, families, and groups, employing various therapeutic modalities as appropriate.
  • Collaborate with clients to establish therapeutic goals and facilitate their progress through ongoing monitoring, feedback, and adjustments to treatment plans.
  • Offer crisis intervention services to clients in acute distress and coordinate appropriate referrals for clients requiring specialized care or additional support.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential client records, documenting assessment results, treatment plans, progress notes, and any relevant correspondence.
  • Stay up-to-date with current research and best practices in the field of clinical psychology, integrating new knowledge into your therapeutic approaches.
  • Collaborate with other mental health professionals, such as psychiatrists, social workers, and counselors, to provide comprehensive care and ensure continuity of treatment.
  • Provide consultation and guidance to colleagues, students, and other professionals on matters related to psychological assessment, diagnosis, and treatment.
  • Adhere to ethical guidelines and professional standards set by relevant licensing boards and organizations.
  • Participate in regular supervision and continuing education activities to enhance clinical skills and maintain licensure requirements.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of programmatic initiatives aimed at improving the overall quality of mental health services provided.

Qualifications:

  • Doctoral degree (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) in Clinical Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Current and valid state licensure as a Clinical Psychologist.
  • Proven experience conducting psychological assessments, diagnosing mental health disorders, and developing treatment plans.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in providing evidence-based psychotherapy and counseling services.
  • Excellent knowledge of psychological theories, principles, and therapeutic techniques.
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills, with the ability to formulate accurate clinical impressions and treatment plans.
  • Empathy, sensitivity, and strong interpersonal skills to establish rapport and build effective therapeutic relationships with clients.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex psychological concepts in a clear and understandable manner.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team, collaborating with other professionals to provide holistic care.
  • Strong ethical awareness and adherence to professional standards of conduct and confidentiality.
  • Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) systems or similar documentation platforms.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with advances in the field of clinical psychology.
