We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Licensing Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will be reporting to the License Manager and will be responsible in managing and administering licensing initiatives and identifying new opportunities to expand the company's brand presence through licensing agreements. Key Responsibilities:
Market Research & Analysis:
- Conduct market research to identify potential licensing partners and emerging market trends worldwide.
- Assist in the development of brand strategies that align with licensing opportunities.
Licensing Strategy:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and execute marketing strategies to promote the company’s trademarks to potential licensees and aligning with business objectives.
- Identify and pursue licensing opportunities that align with the company’s brand and business objectives.
- Create and maintain a strategic plan for trademark licensing that ensures both brand protection and revenue generation.
Licensee Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with current and prospective licensees, working to ensure that licensing agreements are mutually beneficial.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Law, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in implementing successful licensing strategies, preferably adept in market research, social media marketing and search engine optimization
- Experience in managing intellectual property portfolios.
- Strong understanding of international trademark laws and licensing regulations or practices.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively within a team of lawyers and other professionals.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant tools.
