Hiring Linux System Administrator (Infrastructure Team)

Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain Linux operating systems and servers.
- Manage system performance, tuning, and monitoring to ensure high availability and reliability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
- Develop and maintain scripts for automation of routine tasks and system management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support various IT initiatives and projects.
- Ensure data integrity, backup, and recovery processes are in place and functioning correctly.
- Implement and manage security policies and procedures to safeguard the infrastructure.
- Maintain documentation related to system configurations, procedures, and processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in Linux system administration.
- Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems, particularly Red Hat, CentOS, and Ubuntu.
- Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware, KVM, or Xen.
- Proficiency in using configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
- Understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and firewalls.
- Knowledge of security best practices and experience with security tools.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Certifications:
- Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) or Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE)
- CompTIA Linux+
- Linux Professional Institute Certification (LPIC)
- AWS Certified SysOps Administrator (preferred but not required)
- VMware Certified Professional (VCP) (preferred but not required)
