Hiring Logistics Manager
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing logistics, especially within the GCC region, with a focus on import/export compliance, customs regulations, and sea freight management.
Job Location: Dubai
Key Responsibilities
- Logistics Operations: Plan, coordinate, and monitor shipping, transportation, and warehousing, ensuring timely and cost-efficient delivery.
- Customs Compliance: Manage GCC customs regulations, shipping documentation, and liaise with customs authorities.
- Vendor Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with freight forwarders and logistics providers; negotiate contracts to optimize value.
- Team Leadership: Develop and guide the logistics team, fostering a collaborative and goal-oriented culture.
- Performance Monitoring: Track KPIs, analyze operations, and report insights to management.
- Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field (MBA preferred).
- Experience: 5+ years in logistics/supply chain, with expertise in GCC processes and sea freight.
- Skills: Strong customs knowledge, problem-solving, negotiation, and proficiency in logistics software.
