Logistics supervisor works smartly to meet and exceed customer expectation by getting customers’ orders to them in the safest manner

with precise accuracy. Main objective is to ensure that safety is prioritized in all aspects of operations, reduce efforts of all staff members, and minimizes the physical touch points. Work continually towards improving processes and achieving high productivity of associates

both under the roof and on the road. Constantly work towards achieving the objectives for in-house, outsource and other service partner. Work with the service partners to improve their performance qualitatively and quantitatively. Demonstrate high standard of coordination

with different teams & stakeholders within the business. Shift manager is responsible to work, execute on special assignments and or projects assigned with full ownership. Ability to work in different shift that cater to 24x7.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize safety in handling shipments both under the roof and on the road.
• Plan and execute morning dispatch wave plans for delivery associates.
• Own the logistics delivery experience KPIs: Success rate (delivery and pickup), Optimize truck utilizations, improve SPR (Shipments per route), Cost per order
• Coordination with outsource head count provider and manage the hiring, on-boarding, and training associates.
• Continuously optimize the operations processes and enhance the overall productivity.
• Work with TMS (Transportation management system) partner and optimize the route planning process.
• Identify the opportunities in the logistics flow and come up with the projects to optimize cost and improve speed of delivery.

Requirements (Hard Skills)

• Bachelor’s degree preferably in operations, logistics and supply chain
• 2 to 3 years’ experience as a logistics operations manager
• Operations team management experience (>10 associates and large pool of drivers)
• Excellent technical and analytical skills in using & managing data, deep dives, root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Solid on hands demonstration of using excel spreadsheets, excel formulas, google sheets, google forms, creating process flows.
• Hands on experience working on Transportation Management System
