Description:
To develop new and manage existing portfolio of strategic initiatives and demand partners for Etisalat in Consumer Data Monetization and User Experience (UX).
This includes the development and management of strategic initiatives in the adjacent market and fully exploit Etisalat opportunity in it. Mainly how to grow Etisalat inventories through creating new medium / publishing, or through partnership, and how to leverage Etisalat data to enrich all the experience and makes it as key differentiator compared to other players. At the same time building and growing the demand partners, including but not limited to Media Sales Representatives (MSR), Channel Partners, Agencies Partnerships, through organic and non-organic approach that will contribute in revenue generation on Etisalat advertising assets and data assets. On top of those, User Experience (UX) background or exposure in UX program is a must.
Duties & responsibilities:
- Act as Program Manager through developing new and managing existing inventories within Etisalat assets and monetize them through advertising, including but not limited to IPTV, DOOH, web, apps, etc.
- Strong exposure and able to demonstrate expertise in the User Experience (UX) domain. This is a must requirement for the candidate.
- Own, manage, and grow healthy pipeline of Digital Advertising demands through direct sales and partnerships through Media Sales Representative, Agencies Partnerships, Advertising Exchange / Networks to generate value and opportunities for Etisalat’s in the most effective and profitable manner.
- Key responsibility to fulfill and achieve annual budget objective through clear and effective hunting and farming strategies.
- Dynamic and agile in sales strategy execution with flexible tactical moves to achieve target.
- Understand the markets dynamics, key players, value chain, and business models in advertising industry.
- Understand UAE regulatory and legal frameworks and fully align all relevant business practice to guarantee full compliance with these regulations and laws, including Consumer Data Protection, Data Privacy Law.
- Understand key customer needs and industry trends, competition, technology, etc., for Digital Advertising and Data Monetization and work together with Product & Partnership Team to ensure Etisalat is on its competitive edge and ahead of competitors in the business.
- Manage execution of a rolling 12 months plan for business development.
- Proactively provide input to Product and Partnership Team to develop or acquire product or services.
- Manage continuous communication with Product and Partnership Team on pricing strategy and commissioning scheme for the business model and inventory rate-cards.
- Manage budget and costing for business development.
- Change management in delivering capability that may be required by executional teams (e.g. PD, IT, engineering, CCC, finance, collection)
- Manage all policies, procedures and guidelines for Digital Advertising and Data Monetization business development, and monitors and supervises their implementation.
- Monitors quality assurance measures & standards to ensure compliance with corporation practices and international standards; ensure respective functions effectively support the corporate objectives, targets, standards and procedures.
- Reports to and maintains ongoing dialogue with the SD, and provides updates periodically about operational performance and achievement of key strategic and financial targets.
- Prepare organized communication updates for top management (CXO level) to drive awareness, alignment, engagement and support for the initiatives.
Requirements:
- Relevant Bachelor`s degree.
- 8 years sales and /or business development, especially with experience in building Digital Advertising and Data Monetization business, and strong exposure in User Experience (UX).
