Description:

  • Support Lead ERM e& enterprise in providing oversight, guidance and implementation guidelines (wherever necessary) to e& enterprise Management Team, CXOs, Risk Champions and other stakeholders, including any subsidiaries and respective risk management professionals/functions.
  • Build relationships and work closely with the departmental Risk Champions and management structures to support the identification and assessment of new risks escalated, ensuring the Group Risk Management framework is adequately applied.
  • Support the Lead e& enterprise and the Head of ERM in ensuring the Group Risk Management framework is fit for purpose, providing insights and best practices to guide possible areas for improvement as well as supporting in the formulation of the group annual plan.
  • Support the implementation of the risk framework in e& enterprise and guide the formulation of risk strategies for key risks.
  • Facilitate the formulation and periodic update of all risk profiles and associated actions and controls for those risks in the areas of the business in scope, and support Risk Champions in submitting all information in the central GRC platform.
  • Providing insights when appropriate as to the appropriate consolidation of different risk themes into Principal Risks at the Group level for reporting to the Group ERM Committee and the Board Risk Committee.
  • Ensure tools, systems and sufficient trainings are provided to identify and successfully mitigate or manage risks to acceptable levels.
  • Support the Lead in providing overall oversight on implementation of risk methodologies across e& enterprise as well as for all its controlled subsidiaries, in line with the Group’s governance model and mandate.
  • Lead or support regular reviews with of the risk landscape across e& enterprise and subsidiaries, taking into account their respective strategies and appetite, where applicable.
  • Actively and timely intervene to ensure that significant exposures are adequately managed when current control & mitigation measures are not effective, by providing subject matter expertise to Risk Owners.
  • Lead the preparation of all Management level dashboards which include a view of the overall status of the internal control environment as well as risk mitigation strategies in order to drive insights-driven discussions, while recommending continuous improvement opportunities in this space to improve the quality of reporting.
  • Engage business stakeholders to proactively monitor the status of risk appetite breaches within e& enterprise, on a quarterly basis.
  • Support the Lead ERM e& enterprise and act in coordination with business stakeholders to ensure the application of the decision support framework and related tools and insights when key strategic decisions are made in e& enterprise.
  • Lead the delivery of the training program to Risk Champion network in e& enterprise and its subsidiaries, as required.
  • Act as primary point of contact for the Internal Audit department on risk management related matters.
     

Lead the ongoing management of the GRC platform, identifying areas for enhancement and liaising with the support team to ensure the tool is fit-for-purpose and implemented in line with the approved risk management framework.

Qualifications & Experience
 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business risk management
  • Master/post-graduate degree or other relevant qualification (e.g. IRM, CISA, CIA, CRMA)
  • 6+ years in enterprise or operational risk management
  • Experience in Technology sector.
  • Desired - Big 4 Top tier firm background
