Description:
- Coordinate with Technology planning teams to identify their project requirements and transform these requirements into RFPs, RFQs, Tender etc., while ensuring that all the technical requirements are comprehensively covered.
- Serve as the lead Technology channel through which the tendering and contractual issues and requests are handled with effective monitoring and control processes.
- Evaluate new products and systems and report the feasibility for utilizing such solutions through detailed assessment in coordination with various Technology Divisions and other stakeholders.
- Overlooks and coordinate the efforts of end-to-end technical planning for Technology network across all domains, to ensure optimized network utilization, consolidation of requirements, and timely demand fulfillment, linking with forecasts.
- Recommend strategies for network expansions and participate in market analysis and entry of new vendors.
- Study and analyze the strategic vendors’ roadmaps and solutions, to ensure sourcing the latest solutions that are future-proof.
- Maintain updated database covering the related issues milestones (RFP approved documents, approvals on the members, extensions, invited suppliers etc.).
- Align with project plan and prepare the quarterly/annual sourcing plan across all the Technology department.
- Coordinate the communication with the P&C team and other related section to accomplish the project requirements.
- Reports and reviews with superiors’ significant events, key/critical observations and concerns to operation of the section procedures/ practices as applicable.
- Coordinates as required with other departments and follow up as and when required.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor Degree in Engineering Electronics, Electrical or Telecommunication bachelor's degree holder with minimum 5–7-year experience, preferably in Telecom field.
