Marine Draftsman

As part of our development, we are looking for Marine Draftsman.

Under the supervision of our local design office manager and in collaboration with our naval architects and engineers in France, your role within our Dubai Office as Marine Design Draftsman will be to :

• Build or modify 3D models: hull, equipment integration, pipe and cable routing, possibly based on 3D scans or 2D section drawings.
• Produce or update general design documents such as: general arrangement drawings (GA), hull linesplan, capacity and ballast plans, safety and fire-fighting plans, etc.
• Produce or update structural (metal) design drawings: basic design and detailed design drawings for decks, bulkheads, shell extensions, cross-sections, crane bases, equipment sittings, etc.
• Produce or update fluid system diagrams: PFD, P&ID
• Create or update electrical system diagrams: single-line diagrams, switchboard drawings.
• Examples of projects include the conversion of container ships to methanol, the installation of CO2 capture systems ("Carbon Capture System"), the basic design of an FPSO, studies on floating wind turbines, etc.
