Description:
In this role you will proactively drive sales and gross profitability for several product lines in the Middle East, Central Asia and India territories. You will be required to act as both a new business developer and key account manager, always identifying opportunities for increased turnover, introduction of new technologies, or improved customer service. This position operates independently with the support of incredibly capable and responsive R&D, Marketing and Finance colleagues globally.
This is a technical sales position where you have the opportunity to grow and run a business, using your application knowledge to identify opportunities for commercial outcomes, build strategic relationships, and proactively pursue leads. This will require a tenacious, resilient individual who will push for results, and can sell the true value of highly customised solutions. Whilst a large part of the business is across established product lines, some of the new business opportunities are related to products in development – you must collaborate closely with R&D teams in Europe and the US to ensure that customer satisfaction remains high and product development milestones are met. Market intelligence is a core component of the role in such a competitive landscape, and your role will see you delivering and acting on key market information to enable the company to achieve strategic goals.
An experienced and influential new business developer and relationship-builder, with the technical credentials to back up their commercial work will thrive in this role. You must be confident with the introduction of highly technical products at a senior level within prospective customer organisations, and must be experienced working cross-functionally, as you will take responsibility for contract negotiations, NDAs, order management, shipments and invoicing.
