Description:
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our Dubai operations. This role blends technical expertise with sales acumen, requiring in-depth knowledge of GFRP rebar production machines, proficiency in machine-operating software, and proven sales experience in the Dubai construction market. The ideal candidate will ensure machine performance, secure contracts, and expand our client base in the region.
Key Responsibilities
- Machine Expertise: Oversee the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of GFRP production lines (e.g., rebar, mesh, and bent element machines), ensuring optimal output and quality.
- Software Proficiency: Utilize specialized software to control and optimize production machines, adjusting parameters for efficiency and performance.
- Sales Leadership: Leverage existing Dubai market knowledge to book contracts, close sales, and build relationships with contractors, engineers, and project managers for GFRP rebar and machine sales.
- Client Engagement: Present AUSA Rebar's three-tier pricing structure (Starter, Value, Bulk) and demonstrate cost savings (e.g., lighter than steel) to secure deals.
- Technical Support: Provide on-site training and consultation to clients on machine use and GFRP installation, enhancing customer satisfaction and repeat business.
- Market Travel: Visit client sites and project locations across the UAE to assess needs, pitch solutions, and finalize contracts (requires a valid UAE driving license).
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of experience with industrial machinery, preferably in GFRP or composite production.
- Proven sales track record in the UAE construction industry, with established Dubai market contacts.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of production machines (e.g., impregnation units, polymerization chambers, cutting units).
- Proficiency in software for machine operation (e.g., control panel interfaces, production optimization tools).
- Sales Skills: Ability to negotiate contracts, present financial benefits (e.g., lifecycle savings vs. steel), and close high-value deals.
- Certifications: Valid UAE driving license (mandatory); additional certifications in machine operation or sales are a plus.
- Languages: Fluent in English.
