ICEYE is designing, building and operating its commercial constellation of small Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) satellites with SAR data available to customers. We are also the leading supplier of new-space SAR satellite missions to governments and large organizations. Our satellites acquire images of Earth at any time - even when it's cloudy or dark - providing commercial and government partners with unmatched persistent monitoring capabilities. Information derived from our SAR images helps customers make data-driven decisions to address time-critical challenges in various sectors, such as maritime, disaster management, defence & security, insurance, and finance.
What are we looking for?
ICEYE, the leading new-space Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) satellite company, is expanding its MENA satellite missions business and is looking for a world-class sales manager in the UAE.
Responsibilities
- Support the MENA Vice President to deliver a regional strategy for Missions and Data
- Together with the MENA VP, identify and qualify opportunities that will close in that continue to develop the pipeline for 2024+
- Report to the Heads of Missions and Data businesses on opportunities progress, including capture plans, deal reviews, Quarterly Business Reviews, Miller Heimann Blue Sheets and regular campaign updates
- Meet with customers at an operational level to drive opportunities to close
- Ensure Salesforce CRM is up to date across all MENA opportunities
- Represent ICEYE at exhibitions and events, as required, and support preparations
- Contribute to the proposal production for quotes, RFI's and RFP's
- Ensure all necessary relationships with internal stakeholders are managed in support of delivering to the customer needs
- Track competitor activity and provide timely updates on competitor news and intelligence to the team
Requirements
Must have:
- 3 years experience in complex sales, ideally aerospace and defence to execute complex strategic sales thinking and the application of a professional sales process
- Lives in the UAE
- Educated to University level at least
- Fluent in English in both written and spoken
- Have produced capture plans and deliver upon win strategies
- Have a focus on customer success and a proven track record of closing sales based on value
- Strong desire to prove themselves, with a hunger to excel in the industry
- Strong fundamental sales skills
- Experience in conducting lead qualification, development of opportunities, conducting gate reviews with management, leading multi-department team, bid-no bid reviews, understanding competitive analysis
- Charismatic and exceptional communication abilities
- Experience of using SalesForce or other CRM
- Willing to travel as required
