Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mendix Specialist to join our team in Dubai, UAE. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in developing and implementing Mendix applications.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and deploy Mendix applications to meet the needs of government departments and agencies, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
- Collaborate with business analysts, stakeholders, and end-users to gather requirements and translate them into functional and technical specifications.
- Configure and customize Mendix applications using the Mendix Modeler, incorporating business logic, workflows, and user interfaces.
- Integrate Mendix applications with existing systems and databases, leveraging APIs and web services to enable seamless data exchange and interoperability.
- Conduct testing and quality assurance activities to validate the functionality, performance, and security of Mendix applications, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Provide technical expertise and support to project teams and stakeholders throughout the entire software development lifecycle, from planning and design to deployment and maintenance.
- Collaborate with IT infrastructure and security teams to ensure compliance with organizational policies and standards, and address any security or compliance-related concerns.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in software development, with at least 5 years of experience in Mendix application development.
- Strong knowledge of Mendix platform features, capabilities, and best practices.
- Proficiency in model-driven development and low-code application development methodologies.
- Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive web design.
- Familiarity with relational databases and SQL, and experience with database design and optimization.
- Mendix certification(s) such as Mendix Certified Advanced Developer or Mendix Certified Rapid Developer is highly desirable.
