Mep Draftsman

 

Description:

Al Fares International Tents is looking for a highly

skilled and detail-oriented MEP Draftsman with a minimum of 3 years of

experience in the GCC (Preferably in UAE & KSA). The ideal candidate should

be well-versed in creating accurate and detailed drawings for Mechanical,

Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems. Proficiency in AutoCAD and other

relevant drafting software is essential. The candidate should have a deep

understanding of construction processes and regulations in the GCC.

Responsibilities:

· Create detailed MEP drawings based on

project specifications, requirements, and applicable codes.

· Collaborate with engineers and project

managers to understand project objectives and design criteria.

· Ensure that MEP drawings are accurate,

complete, and in compliance with industry standards and regulations.

· Coordinate MEP drawings with

architectural and structural plans to ensure seamless integration.

· Collaborate with other disciplines to

resolve clashes and conflicts in design, ensuring a coherent and functional

overall design.

· Prepare and maintain project

documentation, including as-built drawings, specifications, and technical

submittals.

· Assist in the preparation of quantity

take-offs and material lists for MEP components.

· Conduct regular reviews of drawings to

identify errors, inconsistencies, and compliance issues.

· Implement quality control measures to

ensure accuracy and adherence to project standards.

· Effectively communicate with project

team members, including engineers, architects, and contractors, to address

design-related issues.

· Participate in coordination meetings to

discuss project progress and resolve design challenges.

· Stay updated on the latest developments

in MEP design, construction technologies, and industry standards.

· Analyse building plans and related

documents to determine the specifications of the MEP systems.

· Coordinate with other engineers and

architects to ensure accuracy of MEP systems.

· Monitor changes and improvements in the

design process. Maintain records of all drawings and specifications.

· Interpret applicable codes and

regulations related to MEP systems.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree or diploma in

Mechanical, Electrical, or related engineering field.

· Minimum of 3 years of experience as an

MEP draftsman in the GCC region.

· Proficiency in AutoCAD and other

relevant drafting software.

· Deep knowledge of MEP systems and

construction processes in the GCC.

· Strong attention to detail and accuracy

in drafting.
