Experience in assessing the type of tender, client, and closing date of the tender and prioritization of all tenders.
Study the project scope of works, clients’ requirements, BOQ, project milestones, contract conditions, and specifications from the bid documents.
Review tender documents assessing the scope, risks involved, tender complexity, etc., and provide feedback to the Management.
Raising RFI’s for pre-tender clarifications.
Floating inquiries for suppliers/subcontractors with necessary documents.
Negotiating with the supplier/subcontractor both on technical & commercial aspects.
Gathering feedback from all the departments (Administration department, purchasing department, contracts department, planning department, projects department & HR department) can help in the evaluation process.
Preparation of prime cost estimates, tenders in accordance with client requirements, and risk analysis for justification of contingency if any for submission to management to apply markup and arrive at tender submission price.
Preparation of BOQ
Involvement in preparation of tender submitting documents.
Maintaining the current and previous estimation records, and referring to them occasionally for ensuring the range of accuracy, compliance, and completeness in the evaluated results.
Prepare conceptual cost estimates for use by management for the purposes such as planning, budgeting, and scheduling.
Preparation of contract documents and hand over the project file and assist in the project.
Preparation of variations in coordination with the project team with all supportive documents.
