This role will report directly to the Vice President of Business Development and Commercial Operations.
Your Futures Responsibilities
- Take responsibility for developing long-term, collaborative partnerships with key distributors strategic accounts in the European municipal markets
- Safety - Act as advocate for all aspects of safe practice. Ensures safety of self and others through rigorous use of safe practices and procedures with personal ownership and responsibility
- Leverage in-depth understanding of markets & customers dynamic to develop joint business plans in line with Solenis business strategy and commercial targets
- Analyze decision-making process within customer organization and initiates contact at various levels within customer organization (customer relationship management)
- Build strong contacts at senior management levels of account
- Lead and partner with customers for business strategies implementation and plan execution, conducting regular business reviews
- Be the face of the company and responsible for all sales, account correspondence, contracts, orders received, new business implementation, troubleshooting, trade shows and follow ups
- There is initially an approximate 80/20 split between account management and new business sales (including sales and service and consultancy to existing customers)
- Dealing with Technical, Engineering, Buyers and Facility Managers
- Maintaining appropriate records
- Comprehensive acquisition and evaluation of relevant market, customer and competition data and maintenance of this data in market information systems (Sales Force & Share point)
- Ensures the flow of information via ongoing reporting and monthly reports
Reguirements
- Bachelor’s/ Master’s degree, preferably in Chemistry/Chemical Engineering is required
- Sales experience in the Water Treatment industry and Municipal expertise are required
- Distributors management experience with the ability to build strong and committed relationships with Distributors
- Sound technical knowledge of municipal Wastewater Treatment/Sewage Treatment and legislation
- Fluent English
- This is a field-based role and frequent travels up to 50% within designated area will be required. The successful candidate must have a valid driving license
