Role: Newborn Specialist

 

Responsibilities:

• Handle tasks such as feeding, sterilizing baby bottles, changing diapers, swaddling, and bathing newborns.

• Support the family in routine building for eating and sleeping for the newborn.

• Skilled in supporting both breastfeeding and formula feeding.

• Guide mothers through post-natal recovery and maternal care.

• Monitor and track baby's daily development, feeding, sleeping and overall well-being and growth.

• Knowledgeable in troubleshooting reflux, colic and other issues.

• Ensure a hygienic and safe environment for babies, including tending to cribs, rooms, equipment, and toys.

• Provide nurturing, supportive and non-judgmental guidance and psychological support to new mothers.

• Expertise in umbilical cord and post-circumcision care.

• Available for day or night shift.

• Experience working with twins or multiples is a plus

 

Qualifications:

-Degree in Nursing or Midwifery

-Valid nursing/midwifery DHA license/eligibility

-Minimum of two years' experience as a Newborn Specialist

-Proven experience in various newborn care aspects with references

-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ideally with a diverse range of nationalities

-Ability to work effectively as part of a team

-Fluency in English; knowledge of other languages is a plus

-Additional certifications (pediatric first aid/resuscitation, lactation consultant, sleep training, etc.) are a plus
