Responsibilities:
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the operational processes related to facilities management, ensuring efficient and effective operations.
- This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent leadership skills and a proven track record of successful facilities management.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance the overall efficiency and effectiveness of facilities management operations.
- Oversee and coordinate the day-to-day operations of the facilities department, including maintenance, cleaning, security, and space planning.
- Manage and allocate resources efficiently to achieve operational goals while adhering to budgetary constraints.
- Evaluate and select external vendors and contractors for facility-related services and negotiate contracts to ensure cost-effectiveness.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics related to facilities management and implement improvements as needed.
- Develop and maintain preventive maintenance schedules and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
- Coordinate and oversee facility projects, renovations, and expansions from inception to completion.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to facility operations, expenses, and maintenance activities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree preferred.
- Proven experience (7+ years) with facilities Management Company, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership or management role.
- Strong understanding of facility operations, maintenance, and safety regulations.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with internal teams and external vendors.
- Proven ability to manage budgets and control costs effectively.
- Strong project management skills and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Certification in Facilities Management (e.g., CFM) is a plus.
- UAE Driving License is a must.
