Operations Manager

As an operations manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing all aspects of our operations in the Dubai and Sharjah regions, ensuring the efficient and effective execution of port agency and marine service processes. Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement operational strategies to optimize efficiency and productivity in port agency and marine services

- Manage and coordinate daily operations, including vessel scheduling, port clearance, crew management, cargo handling, etc.

- Ensure compliance with local regulations and industry standards in the maritime sector

- Monitor and analyze operational performance to identify areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including port authorities, shipping companies, and suppliers, to ensure seamless operations.

- Oversee budgeting and cost control initiatives for operational expenses

- Lead and mentor a team of operations staff.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in maritime studies, port management, or a related field

- Minimum 2–5 years of experience in operations management, preferably in the port agency or maritime industry

- In-depth knowledge of Dubai and Sharjah port operations and regulations.

- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders

- Proven ability to drive operational excellence, meet deadlines, and achieve targets.
