Operations Scheduler

 

Description:

Key Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day scheduling and operations for trading teams, including activities such as blending, quality control and loss prevention

• Manage nominations for marine movements; monitors and executes commodity movements

• Partner with traders to manage physical inventory positions and recommend trade activity based on interactions with third parties

• Monitor cargo and terminal operations to optimize schedules

• Engage with internal and external industry experts including inspectors and terminal operators and maintain strong relationships and lines of communication

• Work closely with team members in trading, operations, accounting and other global trading offices

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree

• 3+ years of directly related experience

• Experience in trading operations in the energy industry

• Team player and ability to work in fast-paced environment

• Excellent communication skills
