Key Responsibilities:
Sales and Business Development:
- Actively identify and pursue new sales opportunities within the construction, architecture, and interior design sectors.
- Generate new leads by prospecting potential customers, including contractors, builders, architects, and showroom owners.
- Develop and implement strategies to meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with existing and potential clients.
- Understand clients' specific needs and preferences and offer customized tile solutions that align with their projects.
- Provide professional advice on product selection, application, and design trends.
Product Knowledge and Promotion:
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of Clayark’s tile products, including the latest trends in tile design, quality standards, and technical specifications.
- Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to showcase the benefits and features of our tile collections.
- Represent the brand at industry events, trade shows, and client meetings to strengthen market presence.
Market Intelligence:
- Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor offerings, and customer demands to identify opportunities for growth.
- Provide feedback to the marketing and product teams on client preferences and emerging trends in the market.
Sales Reporting and Administration:
- Keep accurate records of customer interactions, sales activities, and forecasts in the CRM system.
- Prepare and submit sales reports on a regular basis, detailing progress towards targets, new opportunities, and key account developments.
- Follow up on outstanding payments and ensure timely invoicing and collections.
Qualifications and Skills:
Education:
- A bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, architecture, or a related field is preferred.
Experience:
- 2-3 years of sales experience, preferably in the building materials, tile, or construction industry.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Skills:
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build strong client relationships and identify new business opportunities.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple accounts simultaneously.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM software; knowledge of the tile industry is a plus.
