Description:
- Payroll Management
- Manage end-to-end payroll processes, including data input, payroll calculations, and disbursements.
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll for all employees.
- Stay updated on relevant labor laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
- Obtaining required information/ records from different stakeholders including but not limited to staff disciplinary related deductions, salary advance/loans, salary increments and decreases.
- Attending to staff queries by answering staff questions about salaries, deductions, attendance, leave entitlements, time record, and overtime payments.
- Assist in execution of salary increments, bonuses, salary advance, etc. in line with drafted letters.
- Adhere to payroll policies and procedures by processing payroll in line with the UAE Labour law and/ or the applicable laws by different authorities.
- Well versed in the U.A.E. labour law, staying up to date with all regulations affecting employment in the U.A.E.
- Register new joiners onto the payroll records by assisting them obtaining/opening a bank account.
- Work closely with all relevant stakeholders including accounting, Data Analytics and Finance to ensure all reports and system updates are done in a timely manner.
- Identify, investigate, and resolve discrepancies in timesheets and payroll records by rectifying system/attendance records as warranted.
- Process departed employees’ end of service gratuity along with the final settlement by obtaining required inputs from different stakeholders/ system records along with final approval(s).
- Process staff medical insurance enrollment by obtaining the necessary related documents.
- Review and process staff miscellaneous contractual benefits such as air ticket, gratuity and other allowances
- Implement technological solutions to automate and streamline payroll processes.
- Collaborate with IT teams to integrate payroll systems with other enterprise systems.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure payroll accuracy and compliance with legal and company policies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accountancy, MIS, or related field.
- Proven experience as a Payroll Manager
- In-depth knowledge of payroll processes, regulations, and labor laws.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in data analysis tools.
- Familiarity with HRIS and payroll software.
