Payroll Specialist

 

Description:

We’re hiring a Payroll Specialist for a one-year contract, with potential for extension, to be deployed at a client site in DAFZA, Dubai. In this role, you’ll oversee payroll operations across the Middle East and India regions, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely processing each month.

 

  • Manage end-to-end payroll processing, adhering to company policies and compliance standards.
  • Process monthly payrolls for the Middle East and India, ensuring accuracy and meeting deadlines.
  • Perform monthly reconciliations of payroll accounts, identifying and promptly resolving discrepancies.
  • Conduct payroll validations and data quality checks to ensure accurate employee payments.
  • Provide support and address inquiries related to payroll from employees and HR Ops.
  • Prepare and submit monthly payroll reports for management review.
  • Collaborate with HR to support payroll functions during onboarding and offboarding.
  • Work with finance teams on month-end activities, streamlining payroll processes and resolving discrepancies.
  • Support HRIS-related queries, particularly in payroll and time management, and liaise with Group HRIS teams when needed.
  • Conduct regular data checks to ensure HR system quality and stability.

Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years of experience in payroll processing and reconciliation.
  • Proficiency in payroll software and HRIS systems.
  • Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and analytical capabilities.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
