We are seeking a knowledgeable and dedicated Pharmacist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for dispensing medications, advising patients on the proper use of drugs, boosting pharmacy sales, and ensuring the smooth operation of the pharmacy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Dispense prescription medications to patients accurately and efficiently.
- Provide patients with information on how to take their medications and potential side effects.
- Conduct medication reviews and provide healthcare advice.
- Manage and oversee the inventory of pharmaceutical products, including ordering, stocking, and tracking inventory levels to ensure the availability of necessary medications.
- Implement effective inventory management strategies to minimize waste, manage expiration dates.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
- Stay up-to-date with new pharmaceutical products, regulations, and best practices.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and accreditation requirements.
- Develop and implement strategies to boost pharmacy sales and performance by identifying customer needs, recommending appropriate products, and promoting health services.
- Monitor sales trends and identify opportunities for growth by analyzing sales data, customer feedback, and market trends.
- Engage in active merchandising to enhance product visibility and appeal to customers.
- Educate and train staff on sales techniques and product knowledge to improve overall pharmacy performance.
- Handle insurance approvals, including verifying insurance coverage, processing claims, and resolving any issues related to insurance reimbursements.
- Ensure timely and accurate submission of insurance claims to maximize reimbursement and reduce denials.
- Communicate effectively with insurance companies to clarify coverage and resolve any discrepancies.
- Manage e-commerce operations, including processing online orders, updating product listings, and ensuring timely delivery of medications and health products.
- Coordinate delivery services to provide efficient and reliable delivery of medications to patients’ homes, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
- Develop and maintain relationships with delivery partners to enhance the delivery service and ensure patient satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Valid DHA (Dubai Health Authority) license
- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy from an accredited institution
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Pharmacist, with at least 2 years in the UAE
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities

- Proven experience in sales and a strong understanding of sales principles
- Experience in inventory management and familiarity with inventory management software
