Procurement Analyst required

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Develop, manage, and coordinate procurement processes and policies to ensure cost-effective and efficient sourcing of materials and services.
  • Identify and evaluate potential vendors and suppliers to meet the company’s procurement needs.
  • Initiate and manage the request for quotations (RFQ) process, including the collection of necessary documents for materials evaluation.
  • Compile and analyze all RFQs, preparing reports and dashboards to facilitate data-driven decision-making.
  • Conduct negotiations with vendors and suppliers to secure the best pricing and terms.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and logistics companies to coordinate import and export documentation.
  • Perform data entry, prepare reports, and maintain procurement dashboards.
  • Take on additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience of 2-3 years in procurement, with a focus on Industrial or Safety Products.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications, with a strong emphasis on Excel for data analysis.
  • Strong negotiation skills, time management abilities, attention to detail, and a commitment to meeting deadlines.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively under pressure.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Flexibility to work variable hours, including weekends, as needed for deployments and special projects.
